Photo Scavenger Hunt.."Painted"

On my walk around the Tidal Basin during The Cherry Blossom Festival in Washington, DC in April of this year, I found this man painting the Jefferson Memorial along with the Cherry Blossoms. I thought this was appropriate for today's post.

Photo Scavenger Hunt.."In Memory"

This weeks theme is In Memory so I have posted a couple of photos from my visit to "The NEWSEUM" in Washington, DC. These photos are of a photo journalist that ran home to get his cameras upon learning of the collapse of the World Trade Center Towers. While visiting the NEWSEUM and seeing his found equipment and notes, I was so moved. 9-11 is still so prevalent in my mind. I thought of these photos when I discovered today's theme. I hope you enjoy these and also that you take a moment to remember all that were effected by this tragedy.
